In rural areas work-related opportunities are so low that families face extreme hurdles to meet their basic life needs. Women in villages are bound to work within the premised of their home but not outside. Why? Because the dominant male thinks that they are lacking in potential. But we have found energy and work enthusiasm in the rural population, the only thing they are lacking is the opportunity. SPA has worked a lot in this regard to bring forth unlimited chances to the youth of the village so that their potential can be utilized in the best possible way. SPA provides superlative quality training programs for women and other unemployed youth of the village. Our trainers put in proficient efforts to train and guide numerous valuable skills which can be utilized to earn a livelihood. SPA runs various programs to empower women financially and live a quality life. For this purpose, SPA has created an immense number of opportunities for women to be independent in their life matters. The programs initiated by SPA for women include:

• Nakshi Katha
• Spectacles Caps
• Keyrings
• Cushion Cover
• Bedsheets
• Pillow Cover
• Saree, three pieces, etc.

SPA has established a micro-credit program to ensure that no individual in the village remains unemployed especially women.

Through this program, women are trained for handicraft skills and generate income for themselves and their loved ones. 

• Home-based handicraft programs have been initiated to incorporate women and surprisingly their income surpassed Tk. 1050/- in a short time.
• These programs aid the suppressed women to become a leader rather than blind followers. 
• Women become able to utilize their leadership qualities in decision-making for the betterment of their families and society.
• Women’s empowerment becomes the major factor in poverty reduction in society.
